Under Fives Childrens Group (Drop In)

We meet from 1.00pm - 2.45pm every Wednesday afternoon during school terms.

What is the Under 5’s Group?

At the Under Fives Group, parents and other carers can meet in a warm friendly atmosphere while the children play in a safe environment .... New mums and carers are always welcome to drop in!

We offer a varied selection of toys and play equipment and a chance for the children to enjoy singing together.

The group is now organised on a rota basis by a group of local mums.

SUBSCRIPTIONS:

£1.00 per session per family.

This covers the cost of refreshments and enables us to buy new toys as needed.

WHAT WE DO AT UNDER FIVES

Our group is very informal but here is a rough outline of a typical session.

On arrival, we take subs & get to know each other while children play. During the session we have drinks and biscuits (for children and adults); Singing time; Free Play; Clear away ride-on toys and play  activities etc

We have a Kitchen and Toilets with a NAPPY CHANGING UNIT on the wall

NOTE: After Easter 2009, there will be a new charge for the weekly WEDNESDAY session. New Cost: £1.50 per session

For parent/carer + 2 children.

The £1 charge has been in place for over 2 years so we hope you understand the need to increase slightly.
