CHRISTMAS TEA for Retired Persons (15th December 2009)
This year’s Christmas Tea for “Retired Persons” was held on Tuesday afternoon, December 15th in the Small Hall of the Church. We welcomed nearly 50 guests, with meals being prepared and served by members of the Church.
The afternoon began with a Very Special Performance of Carols and Christmas Songs by the children of the nearby
Grasvenor Junior School. Many thanks to all of them, their Teachers and Helpers for a performance we will look back on with a SMILE as we remember Christmas 2009. Every one of them was a Star

After the Tea, we were entertained with a Drama by Members of the Church entitled “Thank you Lord”.
A very different version of one or two well known carols interrupted by the Health & Safety Officer!
Thank you to all who helped make the afternoon a success, especially Members and Friends of the Church who provided Transport to and from the Church. It couldn’t happen without them!
If you know someone or have a relative who would have enjoyed the afternoon with us, send us their Name/Details and we will make a note of it for next year. (Let Elsie Griffin know or use the FEEDBACK Section on our Web Site Home Page.)
